My passion for photography started from an early age working with film and developing in the darkroom.
I started work experience when I was 14 at a studio cutting out Dr Martens shoes for their website, which not only sparked my love for the boots but also for working with images! I then started to arrange wedding albums and work for a local magazine which kick-started my career.
I moved to London in 2010 to work for Madame Tussauds' studio in Shepherds Bush where they make the figures for all of their 26 attractions. This gave me an amazing opportunity to travel along-side various artists to photograph celebrities world-wide. We would collect as many images, colour matches and measurements to bring back to the talented team in London who would then make the figures. From Kendall Jenner in Hollywood, Liu Yi in Beijing, Ricky Martin in Sydney and Priyanka Chopra in New York, I've met some amazing people and visited some beautiful places.
Moving out of London and back to Northampton in 2016 to start my freelance career was my biggest move but I love having the freedom to shoot my own subjects and create my own style. Madame Tussauds is still one of my biggest clients along with some e-commerce for Harvey Nichols and a couple of shoe companies in Northamptonshire.
Weddings are a huge part of my career now and growing. I love working alongside the couples and seeing their big day that they've planned. Each wedding has it's own energy and style tailored to them and I love being able to capture that through the lens.
